About Us
The Purposeful Girl is an organization dedicated to providing mentorship to young girls between the ages of 8 and 19. Our mission is to help them grow in confidence, self-esteem, and identity, and ultimately find their purpose in life. We offer a safe and supportive environment where girls can receive guidance and connect with like-minded peers.
According to statistics, girls' self esteem tends to drop from the ages 11-14 years, only 11% of girls feel comfortable using the word beautiful, and low self esteem is found to lead to depression. 37% of young girls in the UK reported having low self esteem due to their body image. The Purposeful Girl has recognized that there is a need and we are willing to do what it takes to build the esteem of our young girls.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to provide a safe place and community for young girls to grow confidently into themselves and discover their identity and purpose in Christ.
GOALS
Our goal is to provide mentorship, resources, and exposure to develop their confidence and make them to be self sufficient leaders.
VALUES
Our vision is to reach young girls beyond the DFW area. We see our program being in schools and centers. We are building a safe place and community for girls to be transparent, confident, and grow.
